Tui Holly Award – 2007, 2006, 2005, 2000, 1998, 1997
We are the only hotel in Cyprus to have won this award six times. Tui - the German tourist organization - is the biggest in Europe, moving 18 millions tourists a year and cooperating with 10.000 hotels around the globe. The annual Holly Award is presented to the best 100 hotels of the year according to guest satisfaction questionnaires.
Tui Environmental Champion – 2010, 2009, 2008, 2006, 2005, 2004,
TUI Deutschland launched the TUI Environmental Champion award in 1996 to honour and reward contracted hotels pioneering in environmentally friendly and future-oriented hotel management. The TUI Environmental Champion award is the second most important and acclaimed recognition sought by hoteliers.
Green Planet Award - 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000
Kuoni Travel Group - headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland - introduced the Green Planet awards programme in 2000 to recognize ecologically advanced hotel management with the intention to help environmentally conscious consumers more easily identify eco-friendly companies in the hospitality and tourism sector.
Hotelplan Environmental Award - 2006
The Tour Operator Hotelplan honours environmentally friendly operations worldwide and presents them with the Hotelplan Environmental Award, which is a distinction for a hotel to stand out positively within the market.
Thomas Cook Marque of Excellence Award - 2009, 2008
‘Best Local Flavour Hotel’ and ‘Responsible Tourism’ Thomas Cook Group PLC is the second largest travel company in Europe and the UK, behind TUI Travel. The annual Marque of Excellence awards are presented to hotels that excel in various categories.
Travelife Awards - For Sustainable & Environmentally Aware Hotels, Gold Award – 2008
Travelife is an organisation that has been set up to address issues of ‘sustainability’ with suppliers of hotels, excursions and transportation. The Travelife Awards are an internationally recognised award scheme for hotels who embrace green tourism practices and attain high standards of environmental management.
